    1. Great UL shelter

This is a revolutionary piece of gear for me. I use it on fastpacking trips when I want to run and only have an 18L backpack. It is great! I definitely recommend using it with a sleeping bag/some additional insulation. It functions well by itself in an emergency, and with a sleeping bag it is a complete dream! It all works really well, but my only comment is that the footbox is made of a slightly different material that has problems with condensation. My feet got really wet. on Jul 23rd 2018

    2. Perfect for a small person who can't carry much weight

I'm 5'0" and carrying more than 30 lbs is a challenge for me. I've been looking for ways to cut weight and have focused on the the big 3 (pack, sleeping bag, tent). I got an UL pack and have just replaced my tent with this bivy for good weather camping. I just used it for a 4 day backpack in the Grand Canyon and it was perfect. It kept me secure and warm and was so light weight and compact it fit in a side pocket of my pack (with a footprint wrapped around it). It seems well made and I expect it to last for a while. Great price, too! I have the backcountry bed and it fit perfectly with a thermarest inflatable pad. on May 21st 2018
