    1. So comfy!

I’m 5’2” and these fit me perfect. The length is just right, the waistband is so comfortable, and the material is lightweight. I intend on wearing these for both hiking and climbing. I was a little skeptical purchasing these only because I have never bought anything from Sierra Designs and their price point, but I’m very happy with my purchase. on Apr 17th 2018

    2. Technically good, but not for me

I ordered these online without the benefit of trying them on. I was just excited to finally find hiking pants marked 'petite'!

Alas, even the petite version, XS, was about 3 inches too long. Which makes them pretty much identical to regular length pants, doesn't it? Resulted in an unflattering bell bottom on me, because I had to roll them up. So you must be a tall petite person for these to fit.

Another disappointment was the waistband. It's pretty much pure spandex, so suction cups to your waist. I'm curvy so this resulted in the sprouting of an uncomfortable muffin top. So you must be a tall, petite, and curveless person for these to fit.

    3. Comfortable pants with poor zippers

The good: Weight of fabric is terrific. Super comfortable waist. Water beads up and brushes off which is nice.
Not so good: Not the most flattering especially at the hips because of zippers and extra bunched fabric there. I think my pair my may have a weird sewing job.
Zippers are too small and very difficult to open or close. Almost impossible with a pack on.

    4. Most comfortable pant EVER

I am an outdoor educator and I pretty much live in these pants now. I was skeptical when I first put them on because I wasn't sure about how I felt with the initial feel on my legs, but after wearing them on a backpacking trip I was completely sold and ended up purchasing two more pairs!! They also look great for when I have to be inside or at meetings. They run the versatility of being great tot wear for outdoor activities or for being professional. Can't say enough good things. on Jan 19th 2017
