    1. Worked well

Used the pants on a winter trip few weeks back. 15 inches of snow. Used a pair of gators but the pants never got wet. Any water rolled right off. Used UA 4.0 under them and was warm. May be a little hot in summer. Will find out soon enough. Worth picking them up. on Dec 25th 2016

    2. lightweight, low profile

Good if you're concerned about saving pack weight and not looking like so much current athletic/outdoor gear that seems like space-age rescue patrol uniforms -- these pants are low key, casual appearance. I think the front pockets are a little shallower than the other trail pants, but the rest of the pockets are well-placed. Note that the pocket linings are mesh, so no carrying bulk sugar :-) on Sep 15th 2016

    3. The best pants I've ever worn

12 days and 75 miles on the trail at Philmont, and now I wear them to the office. The stretch is so amazingly comfortable but looks sharp and professional. Love the thigh pocket with a smaller inner pocket for a camera on the trail or ID and a credit card when I travel. Every time I wear them I am impressed all over again. Coupled with a Columbia PFG shirt it feels like I'm wearing pajamas to work! on Aug 19th 2016

    4. Great hiking pants

These pants have a slim fit with the perfect amount of stretch for clambering over trees and other obstacles when hiking. I'm about 6'1" 170 lbs and the medium fit perfectly. Should work great around town, too; the first time I put them on, my wife asked why I was getting dressed up. Haven't tested the water proof butt yet, but great pants! on Jun 15th 2016

    5. Customer Review

As a Wilderness First Aid Instructor, Leave No Trace Master Educator, and Swiftwater Rescue Instructor it ia important that my clothes look professional AND allow me to teach in all weather conditions. The Trail Pants are durable and have great range of motion. These arey new go-to pama of outdoor instruction. on Apr 29th 2015

    6. Customer Review

I think these are some of the best pants for woods, waters and mountains that I've had. Trim fitting but with good stretch for absolutely no binding. I've used them for backpacking in Idaho's Sawtooth Mtns in fairly warm temps with great fit under a pack waist belt. I like the placement of the pockets, but wish at least one of the rear pockets had a button to secure it for a wallet, though had no loss with 75 miles of 3-wheeler travel to get to trailhead. I think the siliconized butt and knee fabric will be ideal for paddling canoes and portaging. The silicone trail pants are all around great pants for the bush or also around town. on Apr 29th 2015

    7. Customer Review

The fit is true to size and very comfortable. I haven't worn them on the trail yet but can imagine they'd be great. Currently I'm loving wearing them around town. on Aug 19th 2014
