    1. Great tent

Used this in BC as a base camp for steelhead fishing in an undeveloped spot near the main River. Late August early Sept.
Rained like 20 hours a day, 17-18 days. Attached a Hilleberg tarp off the top of the peak and extended off the front door as a large vestibule, eating, cooking, relaxing area.
Impeccable performance even in high winds at night when squalls arrived.
90%+ humidity, of course, not even one leak. Condensation rolled down the walls and gathered in the skirts for easy empty in the AM.
Plenty of room for equipment and me and three dogs with two bags and matts. (Kitchen stayed outside under the Hille.) Center pole is easily adjusted for the right pitch tension....yeah it's a bit fragile but.

    2. Great shelter but pole isn't strong enough

This has been my "go to" shelter for car camping for over a year and I love it. I look forward to using it in the Cascades in the snow but I'm concerned about the strength of the pole. Last winter I used it in only several inches of snow and the pole wasn't ridged enough to support the weighted shelter and it started to bow. on Sep 18th 2016

    4. LOVE LOVE

This shelter is so great. Can't say enough good things. Have taken it across Colorado mountains, Montana mountains to Northern Ireland and to England as well and it has stood up to storms over and over again. It goes up easy, has TONS of space inside. Great for a base camp/multiple people situation. on Aug 15th 2016

    5. Pentamid

We used the previous version of this tent the Pentamid for a trip to Philmont Scout ranch.
"Worked great, lots of space, no leaks. We did use it with the floor tub. On layover days the tent often held 4-6 boys relaxing, hiding out and playing cards. This was used as a 3 season tent and worked great. I would buy another one in a heart beat. We have a good selection of tents to chose from and this is one of out two go to tents. light weight, packs well ventilates well, and is unusual. I would recommend it

    6. Love the tarp!

      Large, 4 season, great value.
1st pole was bent in the center due to 70 mph winds. Second pole was broken in half by a curious black bear. Duct taped both together into a frankin-pole that's now holding up to car camping in the High Sierras.
