First, this is the best bag out there considering the innovation. The center zip, arm flaps and coat-like innovations are brilliant and work. My two negatives amidst tons of positives are the bag is not quite warm in the upper twenties to low thirties without clothing help and to use it properly while you "roll" in it you need your arms outside through the arm ports each time you roll. They're making a sleeping bag into a form of clothing (brilliant). I'd like to see a coat made into a sleeping bag. These are the guys to do it. I recommend this bag highly. My comments are because it has room for growth and not as a downgrade to the item. It is better than any other bag I've looked at or tried which is also very limited. It's hard not to love this sleeping bag. I want to take it with me everywhere! It just looks so damn sexy. It performs great from summer to winters below 20°f. The design is functional and simple. The arm hole design works as well as it's touted, no drafts of air at all! If you're like me and like to roll around before eventually settling into sleeping on my back, there is enough room to wiggle around inside. It'll pack down to about 8"x6" in compression sack.
During the summer, having the arm holes and the footbox make my life more comfortable when I unzip it and use it as a quilt. It's kept me warm through a few winters below 20°f.
Nature doesn't usually call me in the middle of the night, but I do enjoy being able to stay in the sleeping bag a little longer in the morning as I crawl out of my shelter and make breakfast.
It's a little pricey, but you won't regret this investment. Adam on May 27th 2016
Moving the zipper to the middle and having arm ports seems like small details but make a huge difference in the user experience. First trip with the bag was a humid night in the low 50s in a Nightwatch 2 and the minor condensation didn't impact the down at all. Venting was great and this bag should serve me well for three seasons as designed. 5 out of 5. Would camp again. Matt on May 26th 2016
This is a wonderful product. I love it's simplicity and innovation with removing the draw strings around the face and having the arm holes that close to prevent a draft. It isn't super tight around the legs which makes it comfortable for someone who likes to spread them. Perfect for hammock campers because it makes getting in and out of your hammock simple. The price is high but it's worth every penny due to the quality of the product. A warning to all, people will question your sobriety if walking around your home with it on. Seth on Sep 7th 2015
Such a great idea, so plush and comfortable while sleeping..especially side sleeping which is def me. As you can imagine getting up in the middle of the night or early am is great to not have to get out of your bag to do the basics. Love the front zip as opposed to side zip. Hood is cushy and conforming which takes a little bit to get used to. Haven't slept in real cold temps yet so looking forward to doing some higher altitude tests soon. Thomas on Mar 20th 2014
