The Frontcountry Bed is a zipperless sleeping bag that you enter via a large opening in the top. With an oversized, integrated comforter sealing the opening, you can sleep comfortably and naturally on your back, side or stomach. The oval opening is designed to intuitively adjust in width to prevent cold drafts, yet it won’t restrict your natural sleeping position.

    1. Best Car Camping Bag I Have Ever Used

I have always had issues getting a good nights sleep in mummy bags because of my inability to fall asleep laying on my back. The design of this bag especially when coupled with an inexpensive twin air mattress makes for the most comfortable sleeping system that I have ever used in a tent. I was able to comfortably sleep on my side or stomach with no issues. This is obviously not a bag that I would recommend for hiking or our other activities that have weight concerns (but they do have versions for that too).....but for car camping It is the best sleeping bag that I have ever used. To the point that I would say that it was as comfortable as my bed at home.
My only recommendation is that I wish they offered the bag in a tall version. Being 6 ft tall I couldn't sleep fully extended when inside the bag...that said I used the foot exit hole most of the time or didn't have my head inside the hood which allowed me to stretch out.
