    1. Excellent backpacking choice

We are both north of 55 yrs and joints are starting to wear, so it was time to lighten the packs. Took this bag on a week long backpacking trip on the Superior Hiking Trail along the north shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota. Rugged country, a lot of steep terrain, lots of up and down during the day. Dropped the weight of one sleeping bag by going with the Backcountry Duo 35. Combined this with 25" and 20" Thermarest Neo Air mattresses. And retired the old sierra designs Sirius 3 tent, saved a few pounds again with Sierra's Summer Moon 2. We lightened our packs significantly, and cut down on the bulk as well. Very happy with the sleeping bag, and it compacts nicely in the pack as down always does. The sleeves for the sleeping pads hold the pads firmly in place, makes for a better sleep when you don't find yourself sliding off your pad in the middle of the night. Got low 40's temps one night, bag did just fine keeping us warm. Very comfortable bed, well made and well thought out in design. on Sep 12th 2018

    2. It's weight is worth the cost.

Fairly comfortable, though I wish outer top blanket extended further down to allow greater opening. Also if there could be some stretch in the mid section so that a a couple could sleep in opposite directions with their knees pointing away (opposite from each other....that would be great too.

that said, enjoyed the lightweight component on our recent backpack around Hood on the Timberline Trail.

also, like most other down fill bags, there is the occasional feather floating around.

    3. Seems almost perfect

Haven't gotten to take it out for an actual test run yet, but from setting it up in the house this bag seems like it hits almost all the marks: comfortable, sized well, lightweight, packable, and warm. The only thing I wish was different so far is that the pad sleeve was adjustable to fit our Exped double pad. on Jun 19th 2018

    4. Works great

I was skeptical of the 35 degree rating. With the rain fly on it was fine down to 35-30. Makes sleeping with a partner fantastic. I liked the fact that I could use an existing sleeping pad. on Feb 14th 2018
