On June 4, 2008 Meg, Nina and Emily will begin the 3-4 day drive to Yellowknife in the same trusty van that we drove to Northern Saskatchewan in '05. They are already looking forward to a quick detour to Camp Manito-wish to both wish the CMW trips well and be sent off in a most appropriate fashion. Beth will be finishing her last medical school exam on June 7, flying to Yellowknife on the 8th, and they'll hit the water on the 9th at Fort Rae on Great Slave Lake. Their journey then begins upstream on the seldom paddled, historically rich, Emile River.
